The brilliant staff at One Aldwych Hotel in London took part in Santa in the City to raise money for BookTrust's Christmas appeal.

Paul took part in Santa in the City to raise money for BookTrust, donning a BookTrust t-shirt and full Santa outfit for a 5K across London.

Alex Aldridge

Alex ran from the ferry port at Calais to Amsterdam over 9 days to raise money for BookTrust. "I chose BookTrust because I’m passionate about reading. I think it has the power to really change someone’s life if they read things that resonate with them and help them grow as a person."

Rebecca, Grace & Nic

BookTok Besties Rebecca, Grace and Nic took part in the London Vitality 10K to raise money for BookTrust after finding out 1 in 5 children in the UK don't own a book.

Jenna Akehurst

Jenna Akehurst raised an amazing £1,145 for BookTrust by taking part in the Great South Run. Jenna ran 16km, and is extremely passionate about reading and the importance of local libraries.

Nic Orchard

Nic took part in the Dawn To Dusk flying challenge. The event challenges flying enthusiasts to fly their own aeroplane somewhere that means they explore something entirely new from the sky. “I feel strongly that every child should have the pleasure of owning books: the fascination with the tale, the relation to the illustrations, the smell of the paper, are just a few factors that I can remember of that book of my own."

Martin Blacoe

Martin Blacoe raised an incredible £4,470.18 by walking 101.5 miles across the West Highland Way in memory of his colleague, Chris Housam. Chris taught English in secondary schools in Leeds for 32 years and was hugely passionate about getting children reading. Martin is a former Headteacher and spent 7 days walking from Milngavie, near Glasgow, to Fort William.
